Anti Aging Skincare Product- the BASIC to have!
My skin is Dry combination & sensitive, being very dry on the surface to the point of having fine lines, and peeling of skin (in a tropical country!), but the skin is oily inside, causing frequent breakouts, black/white heads. The sensitivity makes it worse as my face will turn red and swell when exposed to allergens. After many years of experimenting with different products, I have finally found skincare combination that stabilizes my skin. |

1. Basic Skincare with Hydration
When it comes to anti-aging, hydration is the key! A dry skin is prone to wrinkles and sagging. 2. Apply Sunscreen
The importance of sunscreen cannot be stressed less, even by dermatologist! UV from the sun will cause our skin to age, i.e. having wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, uneven skin tones, etc. Regular application of sunscreen slows down the aging process. Pick one that has SPF 30-50 protection, and apply every 4 hourly. I recommend the Laroche Posay sunscreen, it is not greasy, won't clog pores, no weird smell, and absorb quickly. Apply sunscreen as the final step of your regime.

3. More Hydration Retention
I will layer on products for more hydration retention for my skin, and for this I choose thee Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid + B5. Hyaluronic Acid is capable attracts up 1000x times its weight in water. 4. Oil/ Water Based Serum
Ant-Ageing serum is not to be missed especially if you are above 30 years old, and the ageing process speeds up. After extensive research, I have opted for the Clarins Anti-Ageing Double Serum, which combines both benefits of oil and serum for skin treatment. Suitable for skin types:
I have dry combination skin, and the oil portion of the serum doesn't clog my pore. In fact, it provides sufficient hydration even during dry environment e.g. sleeping in an aircond room. You can twist the knob to 2 settings, one for less product if you have oily skin, and another for more of the product if you have very dry skin (I use the one with less dispense, and is sufficient for my dry skin).Smell & texture:

5. Apply mask once per week
I usually apply mask that gives hydration to the skin (for the same reason that is stated throughout the post), and additionally I apply deep skin cleansing mask.

CLINIQUE Anti-Blemish Oil Control Cleansing Mask: 5 min wash away mask for deep cleansing.
Smell & texture:
It's is a white mud texture, you apply on your face evenly, and wash off after 5 minutes. All the gunks, oils, blackheads/ whiteheads will be "melted away" and washed away.
Since I have super dry skin, I will follow the instructions strictly and apply maximum 5 minutes only, or else my skin will be too dry and start to have redness. For dry skin, I recommend to use this product once in every few weeks, unless you have super oily skin then perhaps once per week is good for you.

After applying it, I actually feel that it's immediately stinking, painful, and "spicy" on my face. I thought that I was going to develop sensitive reactions, which didn't happen. Instead, my skin looks soft, radiant, and bright. It has a creamy smell of lotus seed, and some seeds in the mask.
Final Verdict:
If you looking for basic products that really deliver the results for the ingredients, I will recommend the above products (not sponsored)!The sequence will be:
