Recently, I am looking for a formula that's really delivering its claim for the ingredients, and at a reasonable pricing. I have came across the Ordinary brand and purchased online (you can purchase it from @Beauty Bay, and @CultBeauty websites, and they offer international delivery at very cheap delivery fee). Now, many sephora outlets also sell them.

The Ordinary Skincare Product by DECIEM

I purchased the following item, and started using them for weeks now:
1. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
2. "Buffet"
3. Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane
4. Squalene Cleanser
5. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

1. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
Works wonder for me, by lifting and firming my face. People commented that my face looks "smaller"/ "thinner" as my face becomes more plump/ less saggy. Now I cannot go without this, and I will apply after toner, before applying other skincare product.

What it does?
MOISTURE! The Hyaluronic acid can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid is well known for its skin benefits, alleviating dry skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles appearance, and speeding up wound healing. It is supported with the addition of Vitamin B5 which also enhances surface hydration.

                     

2. Buffet and Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane: 
My pore looks smaller and skin looks brighter. I was expecting reaction with Retinoid 2%, as Retinol commonly creates reaction. But with this Retinoid, there is no reaction, even for my sensitive skin.

What it does?
ANTI-AGING!
The Buffet: product targets multiple signs of aging at once. It is a multi-peptide serum that reduces fine lines & wrinkles, hydrates, fades dark spots, brightens, firms and smoothens the texture of the skin.

Granactive Retinoid 2%: is claimed to have the same power of Retinol but minus the irritation. targetting multiple signs of aging- reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing the production of collagen. It also stimulates the production of new blood vessels in the skin, and improves skin color.

                               

3. Squalene Cleanser
I use this cleanser as the first cleansing step especially when I have make up on. It is gentle on skin, and remove the make up residues effectively, without drying the skin. I will do double cleansing with Simple cleanser, and these two steps are sufficient to clean my skin thoroughly.

What it does? 
Anti Inflammatory General face cleansing & Make up Remover
Squalane has anti-inflammatory properties, to soothe inflammatory skin problems, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and rosacea, all these symptoms which cause dry skin.

                       

4. Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
This is a moisturizer, with cream like texture. It is much like the Laroche Posay Toleriane Ultra Light Fluid, but at the fraction of its price. It absorbs quickly into the skin, but not greasy.

What it does?
MOISTURE! HA offers a protective barrier against surface hydration loss

                       
  Final verdict:
The Ordinary is delivering its effect with the key ingredients, out beating other similar product in the market at fraction of the price, at about $5-20 per item.

If you are looking for effective skincare at a budget, it is highly recommended to consider the Ordinary brand!
